Saturday night’s bad thunderstorm knocked out telephone service in Paxton, including our service at Nu-tiques at the Barn. We were without phone service all day Sunday and that created some problems for us. But our customers were great about it. The good news is that a Verizon technician came out to the shop Sunday evening and repaired the problem. Our phone service is now back up and running. Thanks to the Verizon for its quick response!
It’s a new day at Nu-tiques at the Barn. This morning one of my sons installed an air conditioner in the shop and it has made a huge difference on a hot day like today. Things are a lot more comfortable to say the least. It’s great for our customers and those of us who work in the shop.
It’s a sales tax-free weekend in Massachusetts. Almost every vendor at Nu-tiques has re-stocked for this weekend. A lot of great new items have been brought in. This is a great weekend to buy furniture. Hope you get a chance to stop and see what’s new. We open at 10 a.m. Nu-tiques at the Barn is located at 486 West St. in beautiful Paxton, MA. If you get a chance check out the new photos that have been posted on our Facebook page. Have a great weekend!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tonya Carpenter and her family. She was the woman who was injured in the horrific accident at Fenway Park Friday night. She is a good friend and we pray for her health and full recovery. You are in our hearts!
